The Star Tribune reports this morning that there were 400 new cases of Whooping Cough reported last month. Is the Dude #401 ?
Yes, it's likely as he was exposed about 2 weeks ago and exhibits all the classic symptoms.
The official test comes back Monday, but he is on antibiotics and under doctor's orders not to go out - "quarantined" to use a loaded word.
In the meantime we try to entertain him. He's not super sick - though he has a wonderful, barking cough - he just should not go out and expose the general populace to his germs for a few days.
