Merry Christmas

Look who found under the tree.  Duke and Roscoe are enjoying some quiet time before the chaos of present unwrapping begins.

It's a quiet Christmas Eve afternoon at the Hobbled house.  Shana is upstairs wrapping presents.  John is not feeling well - sore throat and general crud.  We just finished reading some old Christmas favorites while wrapped in a blanket on the couch.  We read Polar Express, A Stranger in the Woods, and The Christmas Ship.  Not exactly aimed at 7th graders - but it's Christmas Eve - and when you don't feel well they work just fine.

Maria is off a friends house - but we have to fetch her soon as we all head over to my Mom's for Christmas Eve dinner and presents tonight.
